After all this time. . . .

I still miss you everyday!!!!!! 

When I was younger, we went fishing many days. On one of our fishing trips, I was learning how to fish. The biggest thing I caught that day was Mama's wig. So funny! We laughed so much.
So many wonderful, great memories. We can be sad, but if we think about all of the fun family times we shared with Mama and Papa and just all of the family, It should put a smile on our face and joy in our hearts.  We had the best grandparents in the world. Actually we have the best family!! Love you all.

One year later, our feeling is that of thankfulness.  We're thankful for such rich life that mama lived.  90 years on this earth and a legacy that still remains.  Celebrate the life and memories.  What a blessing it was to know  and love her!

Dear Family,
My day started with a bit of sadness as I remembered our loss one year ago today.  We lost one of our most precious gems.  MaMa was our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great,great, grandmother, guardian and friend.....However as the day progressed, the sadness in my heat was replaced with joy.  I have so many beautiful memories of us all learning the lessons of life on Tracey - where each of us grew up in some capacity.  MaMa was a strong, loving and kind woman, whose legacy lives on.  I am truly blessed to be her grandson.  Our family is very forunate to have had the experience of being connected through such a powerful bloodline.  We have had such positive influences as MaMa, PaPa, Ma-Irma, Uncle Olun, and Auntie Gwen, who have molded and shaped each of us in someway, helping us to strive for the best.  They have made us proud and given us such examples of what to work towards in our lives. Let us celebrate Mama today, tomorrow and forever as well as our other relatives that have gone on before us.  Today I feel happy, proud, inspired and strong, knowing where we have come from and that MaMa, PaPa, Ma-Irma, Uncle Olun and Auntie Gwen will forever live in our hearts.  Please forward this to any family members whose numbers I don't have and let's keep our love for one another strong, no matter how near or far the distance.  I love you all!
